In the gothic landscape of the future, thePersona Century Corporation owns 99% of the world. They thought they wieldedabsolute power over the world. However, they we wrong. There are isolatedregions in the world which is beyond the Corporation's reach. One of theseregions is a dangerous and lawless free-zone: Kabuki Town, also known as theDarkside of Tokyo. Kabuki has become an anarchistic haven for misfits, violentcriminals, and idealistic rebels.

Within the town a mysterious figure has appeared - a dark mystic with the powerto break the Persona's grasp on the world. But the Corporation is aware of thethreat he poses, and they have an army of super-human assassins and theresources of the entire world to defeat him. Can one mystic and small band ofrebels stand against a global dictatorship?
