Based on GôNagai's manga, about mild-mannered teenager Akira Fudô, who merges with a demonto fight other demons. Akira Fudo and Ryo Asuka have been best friends since childhood. Ryo's father,Professor Asuka, drills into an underground lake at the South Pole, seeking anew type of energy. But that "new energy" turns out to be demons,intelligentlifeforms that evolve by taking over the bodies of other species.....
This is a bigbudget adaptation of the Devilman comics and no expense has been spared here atall. The effects are really great and the acting is pretty slick along with apunchy script.
