Mihoshi Special : As usual, Mihoshi Kuramitsuwas asleep on the deck of the house when everyone else (with the notableexception of Ryoko) was doing chores. After Ayeka questions Mihoshi'squalifications of being a Galaxy Policewoman, Mihoshi then tells the story ofher and her partner Kiyone's greatest adventure... the "Ultra-Energy Matter"caper.

In the story, Mihoshi casts the Masaki household as the variouscharacters in the story: Ryoko as the thief, Tenchi as a Galaxy Policeman, Ayekaas Tenchi's heiress fiancée, Sasami as an apprentice detective, Washu as a madscientist (not a far stretch of the imagination), and Ryo-Ohki as... Ryo-Ohki.As the investigation progresses (not to mention romantic rivalies between"Ryoko" and "Ayeka"), the detectives stumble onto a plot to destroy theuniverse.

Magical Girl Pretty Sammy : In the series, Sasami Kawai (河合 砂沙美 Kawai Sasami) isa cute young Japanese girl who is asked by magical queen-to-be Tsunami ofJuraihelm to become Magical Girl Pretty Sammy (プリティーサミー), a champion of justice.She is constantly harassed by Pixy Misa (ピクシィミサ), an evil magical girl createdby a rival candidate for queen of the magical world, Ramia. Sasami is unawarethat Pixy Misa is actually her best friend, Misao Amano (天野美紗緒 Amano Misao), whoherself is unaware of the transformation forced on her via hypnosis by Ramia'sbrother, Rumiya.

Collectively, the various Pretty Sammy vehicles spoofthe magical girl (mahō shōjo) genre of anime (particularly Sailor Moon, with the"bishoujo senshi"/"champion of justice" theme), using the characters from AIC'spopular Tenchi Muyo! series (where Sasami is known as Sasami Masaki Jurai).Ryo-Ohki (who is a male in both of the Pretty Sammy Series) is Pretty Sammy'sassistant and plays the same role that Luna, (of the Sailor Moon series) haddone, including keeping the fact he could talk a secret.
